I guess it depends on the household and the cookbook. Most of the pang balikbayans are what we eat at home on a regular basis, parties and Christmas- yes, generally the same. But I prefer the meat, chicken, salad kind of menus 🙂 Hard to flip through when my concept of pang balikbayan is different 🙂
